We have a web-based application that gives people a way to graphically express themselves on photos. We wanted an image of George Bush as one of the test images people could play with, before they uploaded one of their own. We talk to dozens of stock houses -everything is very expensive and full of restrictions. We finally found The United nations, who's only caveat for use of images taken by staff photographers was photo credit...

It's a small world story because the W images got us introduced to the people at LiveEarth (look for the concert event 7.7.07) One of which is a long lost childhood friend.
